This set of prayer beads for Frey (Freyr) consists of three groups of nine beads, recalling the three roots of the World Tree, Yggdrasil, and the nine worlds joined by that tree. Separating these sections are three hanging pendants, each a symbol representing the god:

Boar - The boar is the most Vanic of beasts, appropriate for a god of the Vanir. Frey is the master of the great boar Gullinbursti.

Sword - Frey owned the greatest of swords, that would fight on its own if needed, but gave it up for the love of Gerd.

Cornucopia - As a god of fertility and prosperity, Frey is well represented by this symbol of plenty.

It is made with 10mm deep green fire-polished Czech glass beads, separated by silver-toned metal spacer beads, and glass seed beads to provide a comfortable transition from one bead to the next and to make the piece lightweight, supple, and easy to handle. The string itself is approximately 28.5" (63.5cm) in circumference and can be slipped over the head and worn if desired (keep in mind that there is no clasp, so if you plan to wear it, make sure a 28.5" loop will fit over your head), although it is designed to be used in prayer and meditation, to decorate an altar or shrine, and/or to adorn a statue.

The beads come with a prayer to Frey, written specifically to be used with this prayer bead design (you can, of course, use the beads with any prayers, or for any god or gods, that you choose or that resonate with you) and with a cotton muslin bag for storage.
