This set of prayer beads for Lugh consists of three groups of nine beads, representing the three realms of earth, sea and sky. Separating these sections are three hanging pendants, each a symbol representing the god and his mastery of many arts and skills:

Spearhead - Lugh was well known for his wielding of a mighty spear.

Harp - Among Lugh's skills was that of a harper, a great musician.

Hammer - Another of Lugh's talents was that of the smith, maker of armor and weaponry.

It is made with 10mm earthy iris-finished green fire-polished Czech glass beads, separated by silver-toned metal spacer beads, and glass seed beads to provide a comfortable transition from one bead to the next and to make the piece lightweight, supple, and easy to handle. The string itself is approximately 26" in circumference and can be slipped over the head and worn if desired (keep in mind that there is no clasp, so if you plan to wear it, make sure a 26" loop will fit easily over your head), although it is designed to be used in prayer and meditation, to decorate an altar or shrine, and/or to adorn a statue.

The beads come with a prayer to Lugh, written specifically to be used with this prayer bead design (you can, of course, use the beads with any prayers, or for any god or gods, that you choose or that resonate with you) and with a cotton muslin bag for storage.
